Select the grade and raw material form

304, 316 and 316L are available for CNC project review. Specify the governing standard, bar or plate input, and any material documentation required with the parts.

Define the machining operations

Turning, milling, drilling and tapping are available within the confirmed CNC scope. The sequence and feasibility are reviewed against the individual part geometry.

Threads and assembly interfaces

Specify thread designation, fit requirements, datums and dimensions that affect assembly. Applicable internal threads can be checked with thread plug gauges; dimensions suitable for the method can be checked with calipers.

Document acceptance before ordering

Request a factory quality inspection report and identify the checks that matter to your assembly. Additional measurement methods or tests must be assessed rather than assumed.

Direct machining or casting plus machining?

A CNC-only inquiry can start from bar or plate. If the part needs a cast body, use the casting and machining route so both stages can be reviewed against the same finished-part requirements.

Questions before requesting a quote

What tolerances, quantities and lead times can you offer?

These are evaluated for each drawing and project. Include your critical dimensions, required quantity and target date so we can discuss feasibility and quotation terms.

What inspection information can I request?

Calipers are used for applicable dimensional checks, and thread plug gauges for applicable internal threads. A factory quality inspection report can be provided. Specify the dimensions and report requirements for review before ordering.
